"How many of you see the same people regularly and notice that they either look the same or perhaps even look worse over a long period of time? Furthermore, what is the status of their health due to their lifestyle? High blood pressure, overweight, poor cardiovascular shape or the many other health problems that exist today because we don not take care of ourselves. I thought I was in pretty good shape before I saw Tad...boy was I wrong. I probably fit into the aforementioned category. My body fat was at 18.5% and my blood pressure was marginally high. I even had to be put on blood pressure medicine. I first saw Tad in March 06...thanks to the urging of Rocky. I saw firsthand with Rocky what type of amazing changes Tad could influence on his body. After three months of working with Tad I had my body fat down to 7%. In addition, my blood pressure now is considered on the lower side of average (also, I no longer need the blood pressure Meds). Tad has now started me on the muscle-building phase and in just three short weeks I have put on 12 pounds of lean body weight. He is awesome to work with...always available...always willing to listen. I have just begun this newfound lifestyle and I am really enjoying it. "I wanted one thing this year, "A Fit Me." I had always been about 105 lbs and for the past 6 years, I couldn't get that body back, but believe it or not, I am on my way. I was looking into Jenny Craig, because if Kirstie Alley could put down the cake, so could I. "I had heard from Rock and Joe that they had hired Tad for their weight loss. I waited for a year to see if it really worked. Once I saw their awesome results I decided it was time. In June of 2006 I went to see Tad because I was sick and tired of being fat. When Tad pinched my fat he told me I was at 26% body fat. I was embarrassed that I had gotten that big. By October I had lost 25 lbs and was around 15% body fat. I thought I would take a break from the plan. I veered off track a little over November and December. "I have always been into lifting weights and nutrition since High School. One day I found myself getting married, moving into a new home, and basically scrounging for motivation to go to the gym. I had let myself slack by making excuses for myself to not go to the gym today or eat well.

I decided to look around for a nutritionist, somebody who could lead me in the right direction. I found Tad Inoue. Wow was I lucky! Tad is a great guy who really cared about my progress. He has taken in my short time with him places I never thought I could achieve as fast as I have. I remember my first month there I had lost 10 lbs of fat and GAINED about 8lbs. of muscle. "In July 2006 I set a goal for myself. Run a marathon before I was saddled in a rocking chair with old age. For someone who has only done occasional running doing 5k's, 10k's and a couple of 1/2 marathons for only about a year - it was a huge goal to set. All I can say is that, "I completed the race and I was not the last one at the finish line." My stepson and girlfriend were at the finish line with smiles and roses. Finishing the race, along with the roses made me feel like a million dollars. During this six-month training for the marathon my weight was over 200 and at the end of the training I was still over 200 lbs. This was very discouraging to me since I felt I should have gone down in weight with all the training I did during that period of time. I felt a great accomplishment and I felt if I can do a marathon I definitely can accomplish a goal with my weight and body fat. It took me 10 grueling long months to put my mind to the task of starting a program to lose the weight and body fat.

Why is it that the 200 lb mark is always a turning point in your life? I am 56 years old women and have been seesawing with my weight back and forth between 189 and 212 since the age of 38 years, way to long. I felt like I had tried everything out there and always went back up. This was the 3rd time I had reached over the 200 mark and I really wanted to put a stop to it and control my life on a daily basis. I have come to realize that I need to take control of all aspects in my life and losing body fat, along with the weight was going to have to be top priority. During my yearly medical checkup I asked my doctor for help. She gave me one of Tad's fliers and stated, "try him-he will help you get results." It took me a month to get up my nerve to call but I bit the bullet and called and we had our 1st meeting on October 19, 2006.
